What is Nishino mode

Most dial compass like user interface components available for programmers in Microsoft .net languages lack quality. Our aim is to provide free open source components that a developer can use under open source license as well as for commercial purposes.

Nishino mode is a set of open source dial controls available for both commercial and none commercial use , free of charge. Intended to be used with any .Net language including C# and vb.net, these controls provide an easy to use analog dials such as Compass, Full empty display and speedometer display controls providing both stability and ease of use.

Both Source code in C# and binary distribution including a compiled DLL is available for downloads at the source forge project page  at

Fixes for Visual studio 2005

Code re-compiled to work under visual studio 2005. Both source and DLL available to download as a single .Zip file.


First release of Nishino mode Alpha 0.01a

First alpha release contain the bare-minimum, a compass and speedometer control as well as a non-standard full empty display. These controls are very easy to use either at design time or runtime and the one control provided can be switched between the three modes, speedometer compass and full-empty display by setting a property value

Nishino mode Software component for visual studio .net 2005 will be developed under Lesser GPL license. Both source code in C#  as well as a binary distribution in compiled Dll form will be available for interested parties for downloads
